Kameas Client Software License

  1. Who this is for. This licence covers official builds of the Kenaz client software (the kenaz program, the plugins, extensions and other packages that run it within AI tools made by other companies, and any other software Kameas publishes under this licence) published by Kameas AI, Inc. ("Kameas"), however you obtained them (for example from downloads.kameas.ai, a one-line installer or a package manager). If you use them under your organization's agreement with Kameas, that agreement controls where the two differ.
  2. Licence. Kameas grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run this software in object-code form on devices you use, solely to connect to Kameas Fleet under an account you are authorized to use.
  3. Open-source components. This software includes components Kameas publishes under the Apache License 2.0 (see LICENSE-APACHE and NOTICE) and third-party components under their own licences (see THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES). Nothing here limits your rights under those licences in those components.
  4. Restrictions. Except as those licences allow, you may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer the proprietary components, except to the extent applicable law permits despite this restriction.
  5. Data. The software sends nothing to Kameas Fleet until you sign in. After that it sends only: your device’s registration (an opaque device ID, a display name you control, the operating system, architecture and version); the usage telemetry described at kenaz.kameas.ai/telemetry, for the classes you choose; and content you choose to send, such as skills you publish, team context you share and, if you turn on memory sync, your memory notes. The app tells you about each before anything is sent.
  6. No warranty; limitation of liability. Provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Kameas is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability under this licence is limited to US$100. Releases marked early access or pre-release may not have completed our full release testing. This does not limit any commitment in your organization's agreement with Kameas.
  7. Third-party tools. The AI tools and platforms this software works with are products of other companies. Each is governed by its publisher's own terms and privacy policy, and whether and how it works with this software is under its publisher's control and may change. This software is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any of them, and their names are trademarks of their respective owners.
  8. Termination. This licence ends if you breach it or when your access to Kameas Fleet ends.
  9. Law. The governing law and venue of the Kameas Terms of Use apply.
